The first Spring I was in Vancouver was mind-blowing. I tried to count all the varieties of cherry blossoms, that actually are not cherry but this is what many people call them. I lost track… it seems that there are 36,000 trees, 50 different varieties blooming at different times, making our spring a marvel of pink and white petals!
