Treasures at U.B.C.

Tucked away behind the museum of Anthropology at U.B.C. is one of the rarest gems in Vancouver. There is a reproduction of a Haida Village with a longhouse and replicas of the very old totem poles housed in the museum. The museum was built with a very high ceiling on the North side in order to give justice to the magnificent totem poles. This is a beautiful and mystical place to visit in all seasons. Very nearby, the Nitobe Memorial Garden will delight with its peaceful and contemplative beauty. Telling the story of man, from its childhood to old age, a walk around the garden reveals something new every time.
